Here is a list of my top five characters that this guy created over time.
5.- Chaparron Bonaparte: Along with Lucas, this character was the crazy one, and yes crazy in that sense of the word. With phrases like Lucas: "Digame Licenciado", Chaparron: "Licenciado", or "No hay de queso nomas de papa" this character always made other have an uncomfortable and awkward time around him.
4.- El Chanfle: he was the utility guy from CA America. With a noble heart, he was always doing the right thing. When a penalty kick was whistled in favor of his team he protested because the fault never existed. In the same was he backed out on a car in a supermarket and told the cashier only to find out is was her car. He is later promoted to be the little leagues coach of the team with a humorous scene dropping and breaking everything in his path before signing the contract.
3.- El Chompiras: once a robber, he and his partner "El Botija" now live an honest life. He is very kind but very naive and it is because of this that his partner is taking his hat of, combing his hair and giving him a slap that makes him spin 360. Along other characters like his partners wife and a police officer these guys will make you laugh every time you catch their show.
2.- El Chapulin Colorado: "No contaban con mi astucia". This guy is the best superhero, I would choose him over any Avenger in a heartbeat. His lack of strength or overall superiority of the villain put him in situations that are funny as hell. To have him by your side all you have to say is "Oh, y ahora quien podra ayudarme/defenderme?" and he will pop out of the blue.
1.- El Chavo del Ocho: With any doubt Chespirito's most successful and recognized character, El Chavo lived in a barrel and was an orphan. He and his friends all lived in a apartment complex and there, along with the neighbors they had so much fun. His success was in part because it was directed to kids and taught them valuable lessons at the time that he was making them laugh. "Se me chispoteo" or "Esque no me tienen paciencia" were one of his most common phrases.
Mr. Roberto Gomez Bolaños I just have one thing to say to you: Thank you for my childhood and all the smiles that you have been putting on my face during all the years your shows have been on the air.
